Ok, my son is getting a trip to Disney from Make a Wish, my question is... We are totally asking for a hotel with a monorail, easier to wheel him right out of room to it rather than bus or car, plus he loves them. He also loved fireworks, so which of the three hotels have the best view? I was leaning towards Grand Floridian because we love the restaurants there, but want to make sure my guy gets an amazing show every night from our balcony.
Thanks!

We liked watching from POLY beach, but from the room I would say CR/BLT.

I love the poly, but I think you can't go wrong with any of the three. Hope you have an amazing trip!pixiedust:

FIrst, i send my sympathies and support to you and your family, but I'm so glad you are getting this great opportunity from Make a Wish!

To answer your question I would say stay either MK view at CR or Theme Park view at the Poly.

The CR has a much more up close and personal view of the MK as its right next door. Also, because the CR is a lot taller than other resorts actually get to see the MK instead of just seeing the tops of the castle and Space Mountain peeking over treetops. The fireworks will be a lot closer. The downsides are that the view includes the parking lot in between the CR and the MK (which you can see in pics elsewhere on this site) and that the fireworks view is at an angle.

The Poly's view is across the lagoon, not super far but further than the CR. The Poly is much closer to the ground so you don't get the birds eye view that you get at the CR and instead can really only see the tops of the castle and maybe space mountain peeking over the trees. That said the view is much better framed with the Poly beach and the lagoon, and you have a dead center view of the fireworks.

I would probably do CR because I don't mind the parking lot and like the better view of the MK. Either way you should see if try can get you CL rooms since they have the best views at both resorts and they play the soundtrack to Wishes in the lounges as its happening. Also, you should see if they can arrange access to the VIP viewing areas at all the parks so you don't have to fight for a space to see them if you want to see them from the parks.
