We are visiting DLR in Late October, and have a Fireworks view room booked at a non-Disney hotel.
We did the same a few years ago and LOVED the view on the occasional night we watched from The room rather than the park. The only problem was a lack of music!!
I have heard of people playing their own soundtracks off of YouTube or something similar.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks for the reply-- however I'm staying off property this trip.

Oh, in that case, you're going to have to try find a fairly good quality video off of Youtube or similar and try to sync it with the show. However, I think it'll be tough to get it to sync up accurately. DLR has not yet released Disneyland Forever's soundtrack, so you have to rely on someone who recorded it while in the park. Good luck!
