Fireworks Questions

Hi! I've just started playing the Fireworks game and LOVE it!! But I stink!! I did read the tips about waiting until the firework is just about to disappear, then clicking on it for an "awesome" or a "flawless". This only seems to happen with me for the purple ones for some reason. Does each type of firework work in a different way? Sometimes I click right before the "white star" and get an "ok" ?? Also, why am I getting so many "oops" - does that mean I missed? Or that I clicked too early? Or clicked too late? I just seem to do well with the purples, but not with the other types....

It sounds like you are probably not changing the color/shape of the fireworks for each different one. There is a bar on the bottom of the screen that tells you which color is selected. You want to match the color selected on the bottom bar with the one that is being shot into the air. Use the arrows on your keyboard to change which one is selected. Hope that helps.

Thank you! That explains it!! I never knew I had to actually change the type of the firework before clicking on it. Though I can't see myself being able to do it when different types are being all shot together at one time - you have to go the bottom of the screen, click the right shape, go back up to the sky, click the firework, race back down, change the type, go back up to get another firework..., etc.... I don't think I'm that coordinated!! LOL!! I was having a hard time just clicking the fireworks without having to worry about the bottom screen! LOL!! Guess I'll be practicing today......

I use the left/right arrows to switch among the different fireworks so I don't have to try to click & then hit the firework. My problem is they come so fast I'm just not that coordinated enough anyway, plus I'm playing on a laptop and it's not so easy
