Whats even more ironic, is Breakaway and Getaway came out immediately after the Dream and Fantasy. Same yard same dock. I think they tried to step up to the plate and couldn't keep up with the game.

Right, I don't think fireworks at sea, while very nice to experience, is enough of a selling point in and of itself to justify the expense if all they were trying to do is match tit for tat.

Probably not. We were supposed to take a 10 day NCL cruise this past Jan with friends of ours. We had to cancel because my wife got sick. Talking to our friends after they got back, they said theyd never do another NCL again. There was just too much pay extra and things that weren't as advertised. They normally do Princess.
