We're booked for Preferred fireworks viewing at the Plaza Landing near the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station on FEB 2nd. Has anyone else viewed the fireworks from there? We're bringing 2 y/o twins, and I'm wondering what it willl be like. I know there is no seating - will it be too overcrowded in that area to have small children view fireworks? Would you recommend viewing fireworks from some other spot instead?

Also, any thoughts on best exit plan to avoid getting crushed when it's time to leave?

Thanks in advance for any assistance... :earsgirl:

I have not heard of this "preferred fireworks viewing". Could you please explain what this is, what do you get, and how much does it cost?

Thanks!

Are you talking about the AAA viewing area? If you are, I stood there for MVMCP fireworks. One thing is it's a smoking area. So, I think during the fireworks, they block it from the smokers, but it wasn't when I was there. Also, I didn't think it was that great an area. Make sure you stand to the far right of the area facing the castle. To the left there is a tree that obstructs some view of the castle.

I "lucked" into a Fireworks Viewing voucher because when I booked my reservation they mistakenly added "AAA storytelling" to my reservation confirmation. When DW discovered the error, after I had already paid for the trip, they sent me a note stating that storytelling is not part of the MYW plus dining package I booked, apologized for the mistake, and included the Fireworks Viewing vouchers to replace it. It's an area at the Plaza Landing near the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station that is supposed to be a good viewing spot. When I called to reserve it, they told me it's a non-smoking area & I should arrive 15 minutes early. There is no actual seating---I guess you just stand. I'm not really sure how you would normally request it, but I would imagine you could contact DW reservations to ask about it. I had to call them to reserve the date for our family to use the vouchers they sent.
