fireworks or special parades at ...........

We will be going to MGM and Animal Kingdom for the first time in June. Do either of them have the fireworks show or parades or such that should not be missed???
If so, where is the best place to see these things?

MGM has Fantasmic, a fireworks and character spectacular!
Check disneyworld.com, there may be 2 shows of Fantasmic while you are there in June. The second show would be the least crowded. If there is only 1 show, you need to arrive up to an hour early or you can reserve a fantasmic dinner package-that would give you priority seating.

MGM also has Stars and their Cars parade-cute but IMO not exactly a must see. Try near the front entrance for a good view of the parade.

Animal Kingdom has no fireworks because of the animal safety issues. (Too loud for them, I'm sure.)
AK has a parade of tall puppets, animal style. I like Africa for this parade, Tusker house has outdoor seating with a very good view of the parade.

AK has as many shows as they have rides. We've done the whole park in a day-it's very relaxing and slower paced than the other parks-but I hear it can VERY HOT in the summer.

MGM Fantasmic is a must see. We never miss this light, stage, fire, water, and firework display. It is our number one must do. It may be to intense for younger children, although my DS5 has seen it 4 times in the last 4 years and loves it.

If you like animated movie charaters then the MGM motor car parade has a lot of them. We got some great photos last year of this parade. We viewed it around the exit side of Indiana Jones.

The AK Mickey's Jammin jungle Parade has some of the original characters. We also have veiwed this in Africa by one of the shops can't remember which one.

It is hot in the summer but just remeber sun screen and water are your friends. We usually go in July but have been in early June.
