I just saw on the Disney Dollarless site that the Wonder will have fireworks on select sailings for a limited time. The show is on the Nassau night and is set to music from the Little Mermaid. It is called "Wish Upon a Star". Has anyone seen this show or have anymore info?

I'd be interested to hear about that too!

When DH and I went on our first Disney Cruise in 1998, they had fireworks while we were in port. It was so cool! All the other cruise ship passengers were out watching them too. I was disappointed to hear they discontinued them. My DS would LOVE to see that!

We had fireworks for the 4th of July, so I imagine the show would be similar. It was fantastic! For the holiday, it was set to the Star Spangled Banner. They were set off from a barge shortly after we left Nassau. There were even some of the shaped fireworks (stars and Mickey's head).

Disney Cruise Line® Offers Guests Fireworks at Sea on Select Cruises

For a limited time only, the Disney Wonder features a "Wish Upon A Star" fireworks display on select sailings. During Disney's popular Nassau deck party, a pyrotechnics show will light up the sky on all four-night sailings now through Aug. 24.

Not to be confused with pyrotechnics used in stage shows, this aerial display launches full-sized fireworks shells hundreds of feet into the sky, resulting in giant bursts of brilliant color. It is believed to be the only fireworks show of this scale in the cruise industry. While this display can be seen for miles, only Disney Cruise Line® guests experience a multi-sensory experience, complete with accompanying music choreographed to an "Under the Sea" medley inspired by Disney's The Little Mermaid film.

They had this fireworks show when we were on the May 8th Wonder. They told us this was the first time in a long time that Disney had done this. The show was wonderful, perfectly timed to the music. This was one of the highlights of the cruise.

We were on the Magic on the 4th. Must have been the Wonder fireworks we saw on Nassau. (Just barely). I was hoping we would get a surprise and see some of our own, but no such luck

Has anyone heard any rumors if they are going to continue it past Aug? Thanks
