Fireworks on The Wonder

I forgot to mention one of the greatest things about our trip on the 5/8 Wonder cruise. They are planning on debuting a fireworks display on the 4th of July cruises and we got to see the test product. It was breathtaking. We pulled out of Nassau for about 1/2 hour and then stopped. A small barge off in the distance began lighting off a beautiful display of fireworks set to music. It was so incredible against the pur black sky. The adults and children alike were in awe. It was truly memorable. Tjose of you who get to see it are lucky indeed.

Along time ago they use to shoot them Off on the ship
but it was In Port in Nassau and i think the other ships got Gelous and they had to stop..... they would shoot them off during the end of the Deck Party .........

This is fabulous news! I hope they do it over the New Year's cruise, when we will be on the Wonder!

We were lucky enough to have cruised a few years ago on the Magic when they still did the fireworks from the ship on Nassau night. I believe they stopped them after an incident where someone was slightly injured, or a small fire was started. The story was here on the boards.

We had the pleasure of being on the Magic for the millenium cruise. Both the Magic and Wonder were anchored off Castaway Cay, with a barge of fireworks in between the two ships. AT midnight for the turn of the century they shot them off - it was spectacular!
