What side of the ship are the fireworks shot off? Is it possible to see the fireworks from your room? Or from the adult’s only section? (Our room is aft starboard deck 9 with a verandah).

Thanks!

Some rooms can see SOME of the fireworks. Not really a great view, and, of course, you can't hear the musical accompaniment. Some room will also receive a letter requesting that you NOT be on your verandah during fireworks. This is from the Dream, but it's the same fleetwide:

It depends on what way the wind is blowing as to what side of the ship they shoot of the fireworks. One year we were on deck 4 starboard on the Fantasy waiting. We had done this in the past several times from this location. At one point we thought they might have been canceled. We found out later because of the wind the shot them off the port side.

We saw then from off the starboard side so I would say check the wind. They also shot them off from the rear stack so you want to be around mid to front of the viewing area.

On the many DCL cruises we have been on it's always been the starboard side. The captain maneuvers the ship so the apparent wind direction is from port to starboard keeping the fireworks clear of the ship so the true wind direction doesn't come into play.

Yeah, i've never seen them shot off from the port side either. Seems like they would have to change the pre-show, close different deck areas, adjust the morters, etc. to shoot them off the port side. I've always just assumed they turn the ship for the wind...

We've watched from our starboard side cabin balcony and from the Promenade deck. You can see them fine, but you can't really hear the music or of course see the pre-show on deck

We've been able to watch through the window of our verandah room on the starboard side, midship deck 8. Not the greatest view, but some view. They ask you not to go out on the verandah itself for safety reasons

Fireworks have always been shot off starboard side on our cruises. On a Panama Canal Cruise, the captain actually turned the ship around and sailed back the opposite directions in order for the wind to be in the right direction for the fireworks, then turned around again and resumes our course after they were done.

This was on our Wonder Hawaii trip in 2012, you can see the zig-zag done for the pirate night fireworks:

I agree that I have always seen the fireworks being shown off starboard side but I recently watched a YouTube video of a Pirate's Night celebration on the Fantasy where the fireworks were clearly being shown on the port side. Kind of surprised me.

We had an aft stateroom on the Dream (8684, on the rear of the ship) and we saw the fireworks from our balcony. We didn't go to the party so seeing the fireworks was a bonus.

In February of this year we sat on our veranda and watched the Star Wars themed fireworks and we were port side aft. They were directly in front of us, however they were being launched from forward of the ship. The pirate night fireworks were off the starboard forward side though. We did not get a letter in our stateroom so we really enjoyed getting to watch them without a crowd and we could hear the music from above. We were on deck 7.

In 2016 when we were on the Fantasy, we were able to watch the fireworks from our balcony on deck 8 aft, starboard side and really enjoyed it. On our just completed Fantasy cruise we were on deck 6 aft, starboard side and we got a letter asking us not to go out there during fireworks and not to leave anything out there. We peaked out during the fireworks, but they seemed much lower, louder and closer to the ship than the last cruise.
