Fireworks music at POLY

I was wondering whether the music for the fireworks--regular Wishes and special displays like MVMCP--are piped into the upstairs, lounge area and pool/beach area at the Poly.
I know the regular display music is pipped into 'Ohana; we heard it a couple of months ago. When we watched from the beach another night in August there wasn't any music outside.
We are dining at Kona Cafe on 12/20 and should be finishing up in time to watch at 9:30, a MVMCP night. For a fireworks nut, the music just makes the show even better!!
Thanks, in advance, for any light you can shed.

AWWWWWWWWWWW, somebody must know the answer to this!!
Pretty please!
:santa:

I think the nights when the Magic Kingdom is having MVMCP they only show the special Wishes fireworks and music, not the regular kind. I am not sure if the music is piped into the lounge area by Ohana, however I am sure you would be able to see the fireworks from there or from the beach.

The music is played in the concierge lounge and it is hit or miss from the beach. Sometimes the speakers are working, other times not.

The speakers were not working from the beach when we were there just a few weeks ago. It was still wonderful to see Wishes, though.

I've been able to hear the music for Wishes on the sidewalk by the beach. But when I've managed to get a lounge chair on the beach it was much harder to hear the music.

the music is on during the fire works,,we go to the poly and watch the fire works every trip..its not very loud but you can hear it,,

As you can see from my sig, I have been at the Poly many many MANY nights in the past few years....and I can say with all certainty that music on the beach is NOT a certainty! LOL

It's hit and miss. Sometimes only certain speakers are working, sometimes they all are working--sometimes they are all NOT working. When I was there in July-Aug, they had new speakers, and it worked great--but I see upthread someone was just there a few weeks ago and they are already having problems with them. (?)

Do not rely on there being music on the beach. More than likely there WILL BE music, but it is also possible there may not be. It's still a good show though. :)

Thank you, thank you!

I have thought I've read posts where folks have mused about sitting on the beach while listening to the fireworks music. Since I have not actually heard it, I was wondering if I was confused.

I appreciate the help.
