We had to change the month or our trip and we're now going 9/12-9/16. Are there fireworks on the weekends in September usually or am I completely out of luck?

From what I've experienced, there are definately fireworks on the weekends...even in Sept.

We arrived in Anaheim on Sun 9/7 last year & watched the Fireworks from DTD. Then saw the FW's in the Park on the following Friday 9/12 we flew home on the Saturday, but there were FW's scheduled for that night.

We were in DL from Sept 13-20 last year and there were at least 2 nights of fireworks during our visit.

Friday night????

It's hard to say for sure, but in Sept. '09 there should be fireworks on Fri. and Sat., and Fantasmic on Sat. and Sun.

That's how it was done in Sept. '07.

The calendar from Sept. '08 is of limited value, because last September the fireworks were shown on all three nights (Fri., Sat., and Sun.) because Fantasmic was down for refurb from Sept. to mid-Nov.

There's some uncertainty because DL has the Magical fireworks this summer, and the Remember fireworks are expected to return in the fall. So we won't really know until the dates appear on the official calendar. Right now the official calendar has been getting updated about 6 weeks ahead of time.

We are going 9/11-9/16! Where are you staying?

Of course no one can say for sure because we don't know yet but you can assume that yes, there will be fireworks, at least over the weekend.

Thanks everyone! We just booked Hojo's for the first time. We usually stay at BWPPI but the rates were too high this time around. I'm really looking forward to checking out Hojo's!

We just got back from our second stay at HoJo and had a very good visit. We were in bldg. 2 and got room 2319. If you look on their website at their bldg. layout, it is the triangular shaped room on the inside corner of the building. We LOVED this room - it was huge. We put a rollaway bed in it and still had plenty of room to move around and spread out.

We will also be at HoJo's again when we go in Sept. Your dates look pretty close to ours - Sept. 13-19.

I'm not going until November, so it is killing me not knowing the park hours and fireworks schedules. Plus, we are only going for 2 nights, probably weeknights...so I'd be crushed if we don't see ANY fireworks...but one of the nights we are doing is Veteran's Day...has anyone gone this day in years past? I figure since schools are out it will probably be more crowded even on a weekday...so maybe a chance of fireworks?
