Fireworks from Steakhouse 55/Disneyland Hotel?

Hi everyone! I am so excited - my hubby and I are less than a week from our anniversary celebration at DCA! We will check into our hotel (Fairfield Inn) on Monday afternoon (Labor Day), and likely spend the evening walking around Downtown Disney before our 7:15 dinner reservations at Steakhouse 55. We will hit the ground running rope dropping DCA the next morning (I've never been) and stay through World of Color - Celebrate! with our dining package at Carthay Circle. I can't wait!

So here is my question...is there anywhere to view the Disneyland fireworks from Steakhouse 55, or nearby? I'm not sure if we'll be done with our meal - the fireworks are scheduled for 8:35 that day according to Disneyland's website - does the restaurant do anything for fireworks (a la California Grill at WDW)? Or if we are done with our meal, where would you recommend heading to catch the show?

Nearby the steakhouse, clearest view is towards the parking lots for DTD or the hotel. The hotel buildings are tall and block the view. So towards DTD plaza is your best bet.

Steakhouse 55 has no windows at all so you can't see anything outside. I think the best bet would be to go through the lobby of the Fantasy tower (Check In desk and to the front of the hotel. There are great views form the rooms facing the parking structure so I would assume you could see much of the fireworks just standing out front.
