Fireworks from outside the park

We will only have one day at DL and there are no fireworks that night, but we may be able to see them the night before when we arrive to Paradise Pier. If we can get a sneek at them, will we be better watching them from the Paradise pool area or from the esplanade between DL and DCA?

My DD was also wondering where is the best place to watch the fireworks from outside the parks.

OP since you are staying st the PPH, then the pool deck. You are further away but will get more of the show in view.

For some people at Harbor motels they can see them if thier room, or the outdoor walkway is open to the north.

Esplanade will let you see mostly just the high fireworks.


It's always best when you have tickets to watch from inside DL.

Definitely the pool area at the hotel, as far I know they still pipe the music in as well, if you watch from the Esplanade you can't hear the soundtrack.

DH and I have gone to MIMI's restaurant for a late snack (9ish), after a full day at the Parks and we always sit in the booths nearest Harbor and we get a great view of them!

I've seen them twice from the Motel 6 Maingate. Not bad for a $50 a night hotel.

Top deck of the Mickey & Friends parking structure! Can't get much closer. Or you can go to Ball Road and see "the backside of fireworks".

My vote goes to either the PPH pool or M&Fs, and proably M&Fs first but you have to time your travel right--leave a good 20-30 minutes to get out of the park and on the tram, then up on the garage. The Esplanade, as others have said, is blocked by the train berm so you can't see any of the low ones.

Thanks a lot. I guess it's going to be the PPH pool area, since we are just going to be there. The parking structure sounds great, but will take longer to get there. It's not that we haven't seen them before, so for a quick short visit, I'm sure it will be fine for us.
