Fireworks from Downtown Disney

Can you see Disneyland's Fireworks from Downtown Disney?
If so, where is the best place?
Does California Adventure have nighttime fireworks/spectacular?

Youd see a little bit from DTD- This is a fireworks show that most of the kewl stuff happens on Main Street

DCA has the Electrical Light Parade but no fireworks etc

Just to see the fireworks that make it to the sky (meaning, without being able to see the full show you'd see inside DL), I've found that you can see very well if you stand at the edge of the parking area, between ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe. You could also view from the Esplanade between the parks, but you have to go through a security check first. I honestly think the view is better from the parking area.
