fireworks from CSR?

Can you see any fireworks from any of the buildings at CSR?

Okay we stayed there in the Cabana building (9B, I believe) and there is a little lake when you walk out the door and we saw fireworks from our door one night. Not sure where they came from nor did we ask, but they were beautiful. Judging from where the building was facing, I am guessing they were from Epcot, but not sure. BTW, this is a beautiful resort and I would stay here in a minute. The only problem we encountered was the bus service back from the MK one evening, but that could have been a fluke considering they had to send a special vehicle to pick us up, otherwise great place!

Based on my experience of seeing some of the higher fireworks at Epcot from the AKL, it would be reasonable to think you might also be able to see them from CSR.

We just got back from CSR. BOO HOO! It was awesome ... we could hear Fantasmic and see some flashing in the sky one night from the bridge heading over from the dig sote to el centro. It was sooooo cool you could hear Mickey perfectly and it was neat to relive Fantasmic while walking around the resort lake -- looking at the gators! We also heard the fireworks ( but did not see) from illuminations one night while swimming in the pool! It is a great resort! We were in Cabana 8A...loved it. I had requested cabanas but funny thing my AAA travel agent never bothered to call and request it. So they originally had us in 7A. When I asked the CM said " sorry no one ever made a room request". I had a procedure on my foot the day we left and told them so they moved us to a building in the castitas close to el centro but it was a wicked walk to the bus stop. So, they had us stay there the first night until a room in the cabanas opened up and it was perfect the rest of the week.

Anyone else know if I can see fireworks from particlular room at CSR? I guess from Lori's reply that the best fireworks view would be from the Cabanas.

We could hear the fireworks from both Epcot (Illuminations) and Disney/MGM but could see much. This was unlike our stay at CBR where we could see a good percentage of Illuminations.

We saw some in June, but not from any room buildings. We were also walking to our room(Casita 4) from the Pepper Market. Sorry, not much help.
