Fireworks, Fantasmic and Electrical Parade after Aug 23rd?

Hi Everyone;

We are heading to disneyland August 24th - september 1st and have read that the new Summer Nightastict ends on August 23rd.

We are wondering about the following:

Fireworks: Will there still be fireworks after aug 23rd? If yes, will it still be this summer's Magic show with a flying Dumbo???

Fantastic: Will this show be running after the 23rd??

Electrical Parade: Will this be running in any form after the 23rd??

Fantasmic! runs pretty much year-round FrSaSu.

Main Street should run FrSaSu until Labor Day, but that is not guaranteed.

Fireworks run pretty much year-round FrSaSu, but whether you see Magical or Remember is not known yet. Magical is terrible though; Remember is so much better.

Yes, but at some point it will switch to Fri/Sat/Sun nights as it progresses towards and into Sept. Dumbo? I have no idea but would have to think Dumbo would stay since that is part of the show.

Fantasmic. Definitely yes. Same as fireworks with Fri/Sat/Sun at some point in there.

Hard to say. It looks like last year they kept DEP going thru Labor Day.

MAH, you have been correcting my ignorance in several posts which I appreciate. I had not read much about Magical but was of the understanding that RDCT was gone forever. I hope you are right it is coming back for awhile. It is the greatest fireworks show I have ever seen at Disney.

Indeed, it is. Before Remember, fireworks to me was just shorter lines!

I will be there D23 weekend and am hoping to see the ELP. I haven't seen it since the original one many moons ago.

Maybe they'll add Dumbo to RDCT? Its a lot of work getting him to fly for 2 short months.
