Fireworks Dining Package or Seating

Hi! We'll be in DL the first week of December! It's been 10 years since I've been to DL and this is DH's first trip! We've been to WDW almost every year for the past 25 years, but DL is new to us. We'll be at the 60 day mark on Wednesday so hopefully dining will start to come available to me to book (I know it's day by day as opposed to the 10-day window I'm used to at WDW). Are there any dining packages or special seating for the fireworks? I've read that people start staking their spots for the fireworks an hour ahead, but DH had back surgery a few years ago so it's hard for him to stand in one spot for that long and even harder for him to get to the ground to sit and to get back up. So I'm hoping there's a dining package or something so we can just show up closer to time for the fireworks. If there is seating, that would be even better. Thanks

The projections and fireworks are great on the castle, but if you're there multiple days then don't miss out on the show on main street.

A good time and easier to "get a good spot".

The Plaza Inn may offer fireworks packages. There is also the opportunity to book Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace, but you won’t see the castle from there. Be aware that even if you book a tour that includes fireworks viewing (like Happiest Haunts), people are showing up an hour ahead for the best places in those areas (and it’s standing room only). You’ll see benches in front of the castle, but those are for $$$$ VIP tours.

Thanks, y'all! It sounds like it's not worth spending money for any kind of fireworks package then. We'll try to get to Main Street 20-30 minutes before the fireworks and hope we're lucky and get a spot.

We had seats at the plaza inn as part of a dinner package. We did find the view was about 8/10, and it was nice to be able to sit for the show in a seat. The food was so so.

This is what I was hoping for! I can't find that on the DL website though. There's a Halloween Screams package so do you think they will release some kind of Christmas package closer to time?
