we just booked a trip to Disney in June and it will be a large group.....17 in total
5 kids.....11, 9, 6, 4, 4 and 12 adults the youngest being about 28 and the oldest 100 and in a wheelchair.
we want to do a type of fireworks cruise and i currently have the pirates and pals cruise booked for the group. I confirmed that the wheelchair would be fine and my grandmother will not have to transfer from it.
When i called to discuss options for the cruise the cm mentioned the Grand1 and that it will hold 18 people in addition to the captain. I went with the pirates and pals cruise because of the characters and the kids. I'm second guessing myself though.
Money not being an issue what would you do? keeping in mind my grandmother is in a wheelchair and the cm said he thought the grand1 would accommodate but did not know. Also keeping in mind the kids, who i really want to enjoy themselves. While our son has been to disney a lot this is a second trip for the other 4 and I'd like to make sure its special for them. Right now we have a dining reservation at chef mickey's for 17! on the night we want to do this and pirates and pals leaves from the contemporary. We are staying at the Grand Floridian though so either is convenient.
I know either will be fun, but what would you do?
