Fireworks Cruise vs Dessert Party?

Anyone got any advice regards Wishes/Illuminations Cruises or Dessert Parties? Would love to do something like that for my guests to really finish the evening with something special. Any opinions on which is best? Also i'm from the U.K so will have a party of about 22-25, will this restrict me as far as fireworks cruises go? I read the boats only hold 10-14. Am i able to hire multiple boats???

I haven't had either yet - as my wedding is not till September...until last week I was doing a fireworks cruise, but we have the same number of guests as you, and I didn't want to overload the Grand 1 as I want good pics....so I would have had to have at least one if not 2 pontoon boats...so I switched to DP at Sago Cay. I have seen some of the other ladies pics and it just looks amazing. The food and the view is just stunning and I think it's a very impactful way to close out the day! Just my 2 cents....congrats on your wedding and good luck deciding!

I was recently told that we could have a total of 18 people on the Grand 1. They said if you have a "butler" to serve food, you can only have 17. When I questioned them about the website saying only 14, the told me that it is actually 18! We booked it through 407-WDW-TOUR.

I think the Grand 1 holds 18 in total. Sago Cay is by the marina at the Grand Floridian. It is beautiful!

We had a firework cruise on the Grand 1 the night before our wedding and an Epcot Desert Party on the evening of the wedding. The Grand 1 was absolutely amazing, far better than I expected it to be and there was plenty of room and we had 10 people. Our captain was great and we wished we had more time.
