We've planned the private fireworks cruise departing from the GF. I know some snacks and beverages are included, but wasn't sure exactly what it is. I'm assuming soda and water, along with the bags of pretzels and popcorn that are served for the pirates cruise, but wasn't sure if that was accurate or what else may be included (I didn't get an answer when setting this up other than "snacks"). The reason I ask is I am torn on ordering catering to have a cheese plate or sandwiches or something, we won't have an ADR for dinner this night and I don't want everyone to starve, but I also don't want to pay for catering if the snacks are sufficient assuming we eat quick service in the park before leaving. This is a special surprise for my in-laws and I want it to be perfect, but also don't want to go too overboard if it isn't necessary.

Ours is in November, I can definitely report back! I have the menu from the GF and there are definitely good options, I would just hate to order a bunch of food for everyone to ignore it.

We just did a fireworks cruise out of the Wilderness Lodge. It was incredible. The beverages were indeed sodas and water. The snacks were granola bars, goldfish, and pretzels, I think - they had a basket of them on the back of the boat. Our driver also was very amenable to us bringing our own beverages. We brought beer and wine in our own cooler (we had driven so had one with us), and if we had cheese and crackers or whatever, think he would have been OK with that as well. This was one of the coolest things ever - I had chills watching the MK fireworks from the boat.

Edited to add that since it was summer - we didn't get on the boat until 8:50 or so; we had eaten a large dinner so the snacks weren't that important to us.

We did the Illuminations cruise in April and it had soda and water and then a variety of chips and packaged brownies. Because this was for my DH Birthday and we too did not have an ADR I ordered a pizza, chicken nuggets, cheese & fruit tray, a dessert and bottle of wine. It was excellent and so much better than when we just had snacks. I thought it was fairly priced for Disney (room service pricing). I was so happy I did it:flower1: and my family loved it.
