Fireworks at TTC no park ticket

I am not super super familiar with the security sequence at TTC, but I know I've seen this location listed as a good non-park spot to watch MK fireworks and that the music is played there. I assume that without a park ticket it is easy enough to park one's car at the MK parking lot and make your way to the general area of the ferry launch dock? I am sure that one needs to go thru metal detectors but as far as I'm understanding, no issue with not having a park ticket, correct? Is the ferry dock the best spot at TTC to see them? How crowded is it usually with others using it solely for fireworks viewing?

Separate but related question-- any difference in procedure on the busiest fireworks nights like NYE or July 4th at TTC?

Can't answer questions about the crowds, but you will have to pay to park at the TTC unless you have an AP that is valid (not blocked) for the date you are parking there. It doesn't matter if you don't have a park ticket, there are ticket booths at the TTC (hence the name) so not everyone has a ticket when they go through the toll plaza. As long as the park is not at capacity, you should be able to park as long as you are prepared to pay the parking fee.

If you are a resort guest, you won't have to pay to park. People drive to the parks all the time that are staying onsite so that won't be an issue.

This last January, we had just gotten of the ferry and fireworks started. We stopped and watched them at the loading dock. There was not anyone else there watching besides the people getting off the boat. So my guess is that you shouldn't have a problem finding a space to watch them if you go this route.

Thanks, super helpful just what I was curious about! And they play the music in that area by the loading dock?

MK offers Holiday fireworks on July 3rd and 4th, and also Dec. 30th and 31st. The TTC parking lot may be busier on these dates. You also have the options of Ride Share drop-off and pickup at TTC and addition to parking if you drive.

Even if you’re blocked out I’ve heard they rarely enforce it for AP parking purposes. But it doesn't sound like OP has an AP anyway.
