Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

We went to the world yesterday to get our "free" AP stuff at Animal Kindgom before heading over to MK. Stayed to watch the new fireworks and they were awesome with the music. DD really enjoyed it too. We "closed" the park and saw Mickey himself saying goodbye as we left!

I saw the new MK fireworks last week for the first time and loved them too ...what a difference from the old ones....!

Have you watched the castle changing colours at the end of Wishes? Absolutely beautiful!

We saw Mickey waving goodbye one night too - what a nice surprise!

I saw the fireworks in November and was completely carried away. I actually stood there with tears running down my cheeks. I loved the original Illuminations, and was blown away the first time I saw Fantasmic. But, to anyone who has ever felt the magic, Wishes is in a class all by itself.

That two months later my son chose the ending of Wishes to get down on one knee and propose to his girlfriend feels so right.
