fireworks at california grille

Does anyone have a suggestion as to when to make PS for california grille the 1st week of November so we will be there for the fireworks? No schedule yet posted on the disney site for November. This is my anniversary dinner. Also, do you have to request a window seat when making PS?

If it is like this current week fireworks will be anywhere from 8:30 to 10pm depending on the day. I would suggest making your reservations for about 8:15. Then you can work your way through your meal and if it doesn't work out that you are "at" your table eating during fireworks you will still have access to the rooftop catwalks to enjoy the view from CG.

The new policy allows all guests that "have" eaten dinner at CG to use the rooftop. You just have to show your receipt from dinner and they will allow you up there.

You can make requests when you book, ask for MK view (not just a window seat as you may end up looking at Epcot...which wouldn't be so bad Illuminations is at 9pm) just remember they can't guarantee that.

The predicted hours for Nov. suggests that MK closes at 6PM most nights. This was our experience last year, so perhaps you'd want your PS a bit earlier. I made my seating for 6PM, so that if Wishes is anywhere between 6 and 7:30 I figure we're covered. I didn't think you could see Epcot from CG. Is that true?

I don't know about seeing Epcot, but you can most likely see the fireworks. I have changed my mind as to restaurants. I think we will be going to Narccosee's instead. I looked for last years November schedule and MK closed at 7 on most nights the 1st week of November when we will be there, and Wishes was performed every night. Spectromagic was, I think, Tuesday. I am going to make PS for 6..................hopefully.

You can see all four parks from California Grill. There is another rooftop catwalk on the far side that looks right over at Epcot and MGM (although they are in the distance, you can see the fireworks from them).

As far as times, I see you are changing to Narcossee's that is cool, but I would also think the firworks would be anytime from 7pm-10pm depending on the day. Since there are no accurate times up yet you really can't go off the projected times. The first week of November you would be looking at it starting to get dark around 7pm so perhaps it would be around that time... MK usually only closes as early as 6pm on MNSSHP and MVMCP nights other than that they do like to run Wishes everynight. GOOD LUCK!
