I will be traveling to Disneyland from June 13th-17th a Monday to Friday vacation and was wondering (since park hours won't be posted for another month or so) is any of you frequent guests could tell me if I can expect to see fireworks and/or Fantasmic! during the week at that time of the year? I know World of Color is on every night but I was hoping to see some shows in the Disneyland park too. TIA!

During the summer they normally play fireworks and most shows every night starting around Memorial day I think...so I think you may get to see everything..I am sure that some others will chime in and either confirm or deny my recollections.

Just like what the pp said, all of the nighttime shows should be running during your visit in the middle of June, so I wouldn't worry about it. Also one of your days at DL will be during Grad Night which is the 16th. The park will be closing early for Grad Night around 9pm. It is most likely the park will show the fireworks and F! before the park closes on Grad Night.

We were there in 2009 June 15 thru June 18 (all week days) and they had fireworks and Fantasmic each night.

So would you recommend seeing the F! or Fireworks on a grad night or earlier in the week? The 16th will be my last day. 5 days in the park...

This is a great question because it DOES matter. Fireworks get canceled sometimes due to wind. Therefore, you want to plan to see fireworks as early in your vacation as possible in case you need a "second chance" night.

Yeah that is what I thought... I just want to maximize my time so wasn't sure if it would be better to wait on one of them till the short night but I guess I will just plan on Fireworks the first night, WoC the 2nd and F! the third... that will give me one long night with being able to enjoy shorter waits while others are waiting for F! or Fireworks.

I also agree with Dreams, I would try to watch F! or the fireworks as early as possible because the fireworks can be canceled due to high winds. Than if you feel like to do it again on another night if you didn't feel like you got the best of the shows. On a Grad Night, I would stay until DL closes until 9pm and than enjoy your time at DTD. Do some shopping or eat at any of those restaurants that night.

Yeah thats what I've been thinking all along... I'm just scared overall of going that week. I've only been in Oct and Nov 30-Dec 3 so scared of summer crowds and the new ride openings! I really want to experience everything and share my Birthday with my best friend who probably won't have the opportunity to return to DL for a long time.

(sorry to the OP for taking over your thread!)

It's going to be busy since that will be the last week for the SoCal AP holders to be unblocked, but don't let that scare you and enjoy your trip with your DBF (Sorry for saying this, but it is good to plan ahead and what to expect). At least the new rides will be open before your trip since they would be open in June 3rd.

Yeah... I am an UBER planner so once I have more time information I will probably have all the big things planned out...

The busyness is also why I am considering staying on-site for the first (and probably only) time so that we would be able to take advantage of 3 MM's. (My friend would get 1 MM on her ticket but since I have an AP I don't get any)

Thanks so much for all the answers. I've seen the Fireworks once and never seen either DL's Fantasmic! or World of Colour so I definitely need to see those for sure! Since the 16th is my Birthday I think I'll plan a fancy meal in DTD for that night since DL closes so early. I just got a pincode offer available for my stay so I may switch to on-site that last night as well (just for the experience) depending on rates. The rest of my stay I can't pass up my starhot rate at the Sheritan Park for $49/night. But since that rate wasn't available for my last night I'm paying the regular rate of around $100 so I may switch to a DL resort that night.

Can you share your Pin rate for the on-sites...

Which Sheraton will you be staying at? The one with the free shuttle? If so where did you find that rate? Thanks!

I don't have the pin rate yet... as the site is an american one it wants to match the pin with my name and a zip code... which I don't have. I will be calling today and will try to remember to post the rate when I get it.

Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort
1855 South Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim

This is the address for the Sheraton I'll be staying at. My sister works for Starwood and they have staff and family rates availible to immediate family members. That's where the rate is from, it's not availible without proof that you or you family work for the hotel. It's too good to pass up even though the walk took us about 15 minutes each way (at least in the morning when we were fresh and eager to get to the parks ;-) I believe there is a shuttle but it's the Anaheim one you have to pay for... I'm not entirely sure though as it was just my sister and I staying there two years ago and we quite enjoyed the walk. It was a great way for us to build the anticipation every morning and to decompress before bed.
