Firework shows.....Where's the best Place?

HI all we are going to Disney tomorrow for one week. Since our check in is in the afternoon we think we might just go catch the Firework show at Magic kingdom in the evening. What I want to know is.......

Where is the best place to stand or sit for the fireworks with small kids with us? Someone i think said Liberty Square, is this true? Also will the kids be able to see Tinkerbell fly over the castle as some say? How early should we arrive etc..... I do not even know the schedule.

If you want to enjoy the pure magic of it all, then it is simple. In front of the castle. If you are just wanting fireworks, then we like to go past Peter Pan, close to the bridge that goes towards Haunted Mansion and look toward Its a small world. That is an uncrowded place that has beautiful displays, and plenty of places to sit.
