Has anyone one?

It's only me, DW, DS(9) and DS(3). Would we not feel odd on such a big boat just the four of us?

Is it worth it?

THANK YOU!

we did the illuminations cruise on our last trip, i booked it for our family and then asked if any other dissers wanted to share

We ended up sharing with claire (chilly) and her dbf mike and it was a fantastic experience

:)

We shared a Wishes cruise with another Diser who had booked - we loved it! It was something different to do & you see the fireworks from another angle without all the crowds around.

When we were watching from the Bridge last week there was a small group in the "Breathless" Teak Speedboat.

I second that.

We've shared IllumiNations cruises four times now. I've tried unsuccessfully to book one on several occasions so, without the benevolence of these complete strangers, it's likely that we'd never have had the opportunity. That said, I would still love to experience a cruise with just members of my immediate party, or DISers I already know. I can't help feeling that such a special event would be better savoured without the whole pressurised process that goes with meeting people for the first time. On each occasion, I've felt we've been forced to spend too much time making small-talk when all I really wanted to do was soak it all up. When you're with people with whom you feel at ease, silence isn't uncomfortable. Of course, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself, or I wouldn't keep signing up! :goodvibes

What I'm trying to say is that, if you're lucky enough to be able to book one, I wouldn't worry about it just being the four of you. If cost is a consideration (because it isn't cheap), or you're not able to secure a booking, then sharing is a very good option.

I am looking to book a wishes cruise as a surprise for my DH in December as we have never been on one before (DH doesn't even know they exist!). I want it to be romantic so for us it will just the two of us....I don't think you need to worry, just have fun with your family. :goodvibes
