Fires? Air quality at DLR

Thankfully, none of the fires in California are in the southern portion. I guess we had our turn last year. So our air quality is fine. We are having high temperatures and it is suppose to get hotter next week, so hopefully we won't have any flare ups.

I'm just choking up here in all the smoke. Not good for my asthma. I was thinking today that this is the first time I can't wait to get to S. Calif. to breathe cleaner air!

I'm right there with you. I've been dealing with bronchitis since last Friday. At least the last couple of days seem to be less smokey.

I've been noticing a lot of people complaining about allergies. I really do think
it is the fires. I feel so bad when I go to my car and see bits of ash on it. All
those people going through this tough situation right now. So sad. Lets hope
they get in control. Too bad everything is sooo dry out here in California right
now.

We haven't seen the sun in almost 2 weeks here because of all the smoke! There was a little bit of sunshine today and I was actually surprised to see shadows! It's funny the things you take for granted that you normally see every day. The fairgrounds here in town have turned into a small city for about 1600 fire fighters. I was told today that even the Disneyland fire department was here in Chico fighting the fires! I'm not sure if that's true or not. Let's hope nothing at Disneyland catches on fire if it is!
