Do they still do this at WDW? I know someone who is coming down in September and was curious if they still do that. He is a firefighter here in Michigan. If so, I would like to get some details to be able to pass along to them. It would make their trip extra special.

As far as I know the only thing is to donate a patch to the fire station so they can put it on the wall

It's fun to just visit the fire station and meet the folks there, plus there is a fire station penny machine. And if I remember correctly, it seems like we got to see the horses there once? Maybe somebody can correct or clarify that. And I'm pretty sure my kids got a pic with one of the firemen, which I'm sure they'd love to do with a fellow firefighter.

I'm curious to hear the answers.

Are you talking about the fire station in the MK? or one of the actual RCID fire stations on property?

The Main St. Fire Station has been the headquarters for signing up to play Sorcerers Of The Magic Kingdom since 2012.
While the building itself hasn't changed, it no longer has a wagon or horses or Cast Members dressed as firemen.
There are still patches in display cases on the wall.

Looking around the 'web I found 2 things; 1) It is said that if you want to leave a patch for the cases to take it to City Hall and 2) Reedy Creek Fire station had t-shirts to buy from their union (at least they did in the past, it could be old info). One could probably go to Reedy Creek and see if they would exchange patches...
