Did you guys hear about the fire in the Tiki Room?? When I was there, a lady said it was closed, and now I know why.

Seems like the prevailing rumor is that he is gone....not sure what we will get in June (current time they state it will reopen).....praying for a return to former Tiki Room glory!!

Yep....electrical fire (Iago1 AA was toasted) and the fire suppression system doused the place causing even more damage!

Yes, I couldnt agree with you more!!!!! We all want to Sing like the Birdies sing again at WDW....its been 13 years or so since we last could....Hoping that this summer will be the end of our wait!

If they do give Jose back his show, I will be in line waiting to be in the 1st show no matter HOW LONG or EARLY I have to arrive....

if this happened a while ago it must have been bad. i went in january and it was still closed - and if its opening in june maybe they are changing it back.
