I made an appointment for the fire and ice pedicure for the second day of our cruise. It's a lot of money but it is for 55 minutes. I'm curious if anyone has had it and did you really enjoy it?

My wife and I both did it and it was very good. Just be aware they'll try to sell you a bunch of products afterwards but we both really enjoyed it. We were pulling into Nassau as it started so the view was amazing.

That's great. Thanks for the feedback. I was a little worried. I would hate to pay that price and be disappointed.

I have done it both on the Magic and on the Fantasy and really liked it. My friend had it done at the same time and she did not think it was worth it. YMMV. I put "no sales pitch please" on the check in form and they were very respectful of that. They did "sample" a few things for me, but never pressured me to buy.

We love the fire and ice pedicure...my husband even did it, which surprised the heck out of me. I think it is worth it. We also advise them up front we are NOT interested in buying any products and they do respect the request. Have fun and enjoy!:flower:

what makes it fire and ice?

Like Dug720 said, it is using hot stones and different kinds of gels/lotions.

Do they ever offer specials on the F&I pedi, like on a port day?

I believe they offered it for a really good deal on the first day and then on one of the port days. Will have to dig out my navs and check. I can't find them...If I remember you could get both the mani and pedi for $89 which is usually $120??

Yes they do. I did it once and liked it, but they didn't do anything that my local place doesn't do. Just much better scenery! :)
Thanks! I'm getting a pedicure at home the week before (have a gift certifcate). Just intrigued by this one as well!

I thought it was nice, but nothing more than I get at home with a regular pedicure. I enjoyed it but in the end thought it was pricey. Glad I did it once, but won't do it again.

Enjoy!

YES!!!!!! do it. I've had it done twice on the Dream and loved it. I did the Pedi my daughter did the Mani (she doesn't like people to touch her feet). It is not the same manicure that you get at the corner low priced nail salon, maybe a higher end salon would do this type of mani/pedi. Those hot towels wrapped around your legs while the clay mask is on your legs and then the hot stone massage, aaaaaaahhhhhhh.

OK, now I'm excited. Thanks!. I don't mind paying more as long as it is good. Thanks.

I did it on a cruise many years back. I thought it was a little "hard" and the next day, my feet were killing me. The sales pitch never seemed to end and after reading above, didn't know you could write "no sales pitch" on your form. Good idea.
