Fin's Mardi Gras Quest!

Luckily I got the emporium to load, finally, and finished the quest right as they closed, whew. That was a close one!

This is the weirdest Host quest ive ever played. 1 of the question says:

Kind of a Spoiler:

Traditionally, what is baked into a King Cake?
1. Jelly
2. Beaded Necklaces
3. Nothing
4. Plastic Baby
5. Wooden Nickels

Answer: Plastic Baby

Why is that weird? It is a custom ( also a Greek custom). That who ever gets the slice with the baby in it has to buy the next cake.

Why is it always during the sunday quest?

It is always during the Sunday quest when a game of Jungle Cruise is included. Do we see a pattern yet?

I'm either getting in to the map but unable to go into any room -- or I'm getting BSOD.

A friend bought us a King Cake from New Orlean and the plastic baby on just sitting on the top of it.

By the way, the cake was all dried out and not very good.

I hope you know what your credits were before you ran the quest. I too got stuck after completing the JC, but eventually with lag got to finish.

I literally hit the smile after Emporium, it gave me the rating window.. I checked my credits and.. NO prize! I was still at the same credits I started with, and like you, that is precisely when it disconnected me!! ARG

IF she really wanted to do a prize the best answer isn't there and would have been a Coconut from the Krewe of Zulu parade-

But doubloons cause little old ladies to draw blood on small children- everyone fights for those lol

I didnt do the quest but my kid asked me for the answers.. when she read that question my first thought was a coconut!!! I GLOVE My Zulu Coconut! Had a great time getting it too! Woot!

When I saw that Jungle Cruise would be required I had a bad feeling this would happen again. I just don't get it. We see the pattern that VMK freezes up and crashes on the Sunday quests when a game of Jungle Cruise is required. Do the hosts not see this or do they simply not care? I'm not trying to be negative toward them but I have to wonder why they do the same things over and over when the results are the same.

Drat! I only have a vague idea of what they were. Well it's not like I can do anything about it if I didn't get them you know. If I had known this was a possibility, closing and not getting the credits, I would have checked them before. The closing soon sign came up and I just wanted to finish. Oh well, I have dishes to do anyway I will be back for the next quest, if it works.

They don't bake them in any longer because people sued others- so now when you buy it- you put the baby in yourself from underneath the cake...

BTW- they also have gone to using gold plastic babies because people were complaining about it being a "pink baby" - at least they did a few years back- most here are pink babies...

And dried out is how king cakes usually are... not very good if eaten later than the day they are baked unless you nuke them for a few seconds. Of course here you can also get filled kingcakes with all sorts of things in them- strawberry jelly, lemon creme, vanilla/chocolate pudding, and even things like snickers/milkyways and other candy...

My dh is a king cake snob and only likes the traditional- cinnamon king cake or the ones made from the donut place lol

if you want to make your own- use the cinnamon rolls that unroll- the ones in the can- before you bake unroll three and braid them together then make a circle with the braid(s) and bake as per package instructions- then cover with the frosting- if you want the colors you can dye granualted sugar with gel food coloring- just make sure it is bright bold purple, green and yellow (looks best on the teeth... and sprinkle the colored sugar over the frosting...

It finally worked but I have to do that same question 7 times. I tried a different answer each time and they were all wrong, and then I started over again before it gave me a correct answer.

Since they don't have to do the quests for prizes they don't want to hear anyone complain about it. All they say is "write to the black hole. "

No, they don't care. It they did care, they would complain to their bosses and something would be done about it.
