Finnegan’s evacuation on 5/24?

Just being nosy and hoping everyone was ok… was anyone in UO today and got evacuated out of Finnegan’s around 1pm? Didn’t see smoke or emergency personnel, and we ended up leaving before anyone was allowed back in the restaurant.

Yeah, they put some of their food on the table, and the patrons noticed, so they had to evacuate.

I have no idea. I didn’t notice anything, but I may have gone to Islands by then. The weather was very iffy yesterday.

Chicken with mashed potatoes and root vegetables. Was our favorite dish. Now no mashed nor root vegetables, or plain chicken.

Yep and I don’t like coated chicken breast, particularly with cheese in the coating, and still not the same as regular mashed with root vegetables. I did get their salad with grilled chicken. It was huge. But my daughter and I both agreed, while we like bar food, we will eat at other places instead.

The restaurant is still popular, so a loss of a patron won’t make any difference. And to each their own. We had good meals in there in the past, and I’m sure others will enjoy their food in the future.

Scary to have to evacuate when wanting to eat at there.

Still not sure what happened. We had reservation for 1:15 and headed over a little early to see if we might get in early. I literally walked up to door and just before stepping in heard a bunch of alarms and then everyone was headed for the exits. No huge rush and none of the staff we asked seem to know why.

So, off to Louie's we went.

Came back about the time of our original reservation and staff was still across the street at The Mummy.
