Finished Week #1

So far, so good. I'm proud of myself because I stayed with plan completely. I'm not weighing myself until this weekend, but I feel lighter. I'm sure it's psychological, but it feels good anyway.

I used Atkins as an excuse to buy a huge George Foreman grill this weekend. Anything that will make eating so much meat more convenient is a good thing.

buying that George Foreman grill was a good idea. I've been slipping little hints in here and there ... well, that's not EXACTLY true.... I've been outright telling my DH I wanta grill- but nothing yet! In our old house we had a jennair stove top with a grill on it. We used that thing all the time. I should've insisted on one when we moved into this house- what a dumbie!!! Well, I haven't gotten a grill yet.... but I did get the DVC!!! I guess I can grill there!!

You have a lot of self control girl! Most of us ruin things by weighing daily!! Please post when you know..... I'm excited to find out how you did!!

Good for you! I don't think that feeling lighter is psychological though, I think you DO feel lighter!!! Keep up the great work. You will feel Tiggerific as each week goes by!

I love my George Foreman grill.

I never do feel as though I'm losing and never have felt that way on Atkins, not even the times I lost 7 pounds in one week.

I'm proud of you for staying 100% on plan this first week. It's going to get a lot easier to do, now. That first week is tough.

Way to go!!! I'm sure you will see great results when you do weigh yourself. And I too, am envious of your self control. I've been known to step on the scale every time I go in the bathroom!

Self Control? Nah! I keep the scale under the bed so I'm not tempted to step on it every 10 minutes. If it were in the bathroom I wouldn't be able to resist.
