Hi all

I've been trying to find an answer to this question: Do you have to use your right index finger in the one finger, finger scanner or will a left hand index finger do? I had an incident with the 2 finger scanner in May 2006 because of limited mobility. I used my left hand for the scanner at the first park, but for some reason at the second park the ticket wouldn't work and the guy at the gate asked me to use my other hand. I told him I couldn't and he insisted. Needless to say it was an akward moment that actually ruined my husband's evening more than mine. I chalked it up to a dumb person! Come to find out my card was de-magnitized. Too bad we couldn't have figured that out sooner. So, can you use either hand? TIA

you can use either hand but you have to use the same hand that you use the very first time for subsequent scans because the readings are compared to the initial scan. if the scan doesn't work, it could be the card or physical factors that won't let it be accepted but the cm's have the ability to override a denied scan at the gate. just make sure you have your i.d. with you and it won't be a problem. :thumbsup2
