DS will not be able to use finger scanner due to disability. Since he is a minor and doesn't have an ID, will I run into trouble. Do any children need to use the finger scanner?

Thanks!

If the ticket is a child ticket (Ages 3-9), putting it in the turnstile only checks for validity, tracks it as used that day, and unlocks the turnstile. It does not activate the scanner.

If it is an adult ticket (Age 10+) it will activate the scanner. Any finger from either hand will work, as long as he uses the same finger each time.

If, due to a disability, the scanner cannot be used the CM at the turnstile can override the requirement.

That is what has always happened to my DD. :thumbsup2
She uses a wheelchair and is not able to reach up to the scanner to activate it.

We didn't have any problems with DS. CMs at turnstile were understanding.

I was using an ECV in January and during my entire stay I never had to scan a finger. I just drove up to the gate and the CM ran my card through for me. They could not have been nicer! I doubt that you will have any problems.

used an ECV and never used finger scanner as i could not reach from wheelchair gate. no problems no id needed. if using stroller or wheelchair for your son i see no problems.

Just got back this morning from 2 weeks in Florida. My son is in a chair. They fingerprinted me but not him, they just turned the turnstile and let him through the gate in his chair. It was never an issue at all. have fun!
