Finger Scan Ticket question

I have heard it said that if you bought tickets together, the finger scans are linked. This means that if my DW and I have two tickets purchased at the same time, we didn’t always have to have the same ticket when entering the park. If I had hers, and she had mine, we were good to go.

So my question is this, we have 2 tickets that we upgraded to non-expiration that have 2 days left on each of them. Is it possible that my DW goes for a few days and uses those tickets by herself? I mean could she go for 4 days just her since the fingerprint is tied to both tickets?

There is no guarantee that hey are in fact linked. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Tickets are also explicitly non-transferable, so that's about as far as this subject can be discussed here.

My fiance and I switched annual passes just to see what would happen when we entered the park. I used his ticket to get in and did the finger scan and he used mine and scanned his finger. Nothing happened we got in and kept going.

We did buy a 10 day MYW PH and WPFM with his job discount together but we did upgrade them to AP separately so I'm not sure if they were still linked.

It's possible- but Disney tickets are non-transferrable, and worst case scenario the tickets could be voided if she KNOWINGLY uses a ticket that isn't hers.

It's also against disboard policy to discuss getting around Disney policy.

Hmmm....I'm going to dissent a bit here. It might not be in the spirit of the policy to prevent a married couple from "transferring" amongst themselves. I'm sure they bought the tickets in good faith and if you could ask Walt himself if it was ok, I bet he'd say "no problem"...
Of course, I cannot advise you to do this - as it is "officially" against policy. Maybe explain at guest services that DH could not come back as planned for whatever reason and see if they can "bend" the rules a bit for you.....
