Does the finger scan really work? I was just wondering if it really matched your print to your ticket. We were there this weeked and they were not finger scanning at the Magic Kingdom. That night in MGM they were. Our tickets are park hoppers with no experation. They say adult. We don't know who's ticket is who's.

They worked when we were there in January. My DH & DS has the same name and one day it wouldn't take my DS card when he put it through.Turned out that DH and DS had each others card. When they switched them, it worked.

They worked when I was there in March. It really isn't a finger print it's biometric and picks certain points in the finger to measure.

Aren't the finger scans only used with AP.
No. As of 2005, all "adults" must have a fingerscan done with any type of park admission media. That includes the new MYW passes, old PH passes and special convention-type passes.

When I went at the end of last year, I forgot which finger I had used the first day and the second, it took a few times before I got it right! Cm said it happens all the time!
