What are some of your favorite finger/party foods/snacks?

I am planning a Holiday Cookie Decorating Pary for DD and her friends (about5/6 kids in all). I want to have snacks to offset the sugar high for the kids as well as snacks for the adults to nibble.

I keep throwing around ideas, but then think "Oh no that's too much."

Remember the foods don't all have to be kid friendly, because adults will be snacking too.

One thing that IS a definite item is a Chicken Nugget party tray from Chick-Fil-A for the kids (and adults).

Pigs in a blanket

Shrimp cocktail

Antipasta platter - grilled peppers, a couple kinds of salami, mozzarella balls/tomato/basil, artichokes

crudite platter with dip and hummus

mini meatballs

ravioli tray

fruits and veggies with dips, bread with dip, lil smokies in bbq sauce or grape jelly......

I made bacon ranch chicken "sliders" for dinner tonight. We each had 2, and with fries it was plenty to fill us. This made 8 mini sandwiches and they would be fun party food.

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast
4 slices bacon, 1/2 a slice for each sandwich
2 slices American cheese singles, quartered
1/4 cup Ranch salad dressing, about 1 tsp per sandwich
8 lettuce pieces
2 tomato slices, quartered
8 dinner rolls

Fry the bacon in large skillet, drain on paper towel. While bacon is frying, cut each chicken breast in half or thirds (about 3 inches wide), wrap in plastic wrap and pound to about 1/4 inch thick using a can or meat tenderizer. Cut the thin pieces of chicken in half or thirds, about 2-3 inches square (mine were more triangular). Add chicken pieces to hot bacon grease (season with poultry or rotisserie blend if you wish), cook until done, about 2 minutes each side. While chicken cooks, slice dinner rolls and toast cut-side up at 450F for a minute or two. Spread 1 tsp of the dressing on bottom half of each roll (top too if you like). Stack with a piece of chicken, slice of cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Secure with toothpick, if necessary. Serve.

A simple cheese and cracker tray always seems to be popular with both the kids and the adults.
