We’ll be going to DL with two young boys, end of July, ages 3 & 6.

The 3 year old will celebrate his birthday while we’re there.

We’ll be with a party of 9 people, all ages, including 2 teenage boys.

Is there something special we can do for the birthday boy with a large party of people?

Is the princess fantasy fair geared more for little girls?

Thanks.

We went with 10 people last summer ages twin 3's to 9 yrs, 20's, 40's & a 70 yr old........we found the most fun we had as a group was on a couple rides together & the character meals.

Birthdays can be a lot of fun at the character meals. They will bring out a special dessert for the birthday person & a character or two will join in on singing happy birthday to them.

You can also pre-order a cake for your entire party that can be brought out at the end of your meal, you can treat bags on the table & balloons.....it's really up to you on what you want. Just let Disney Dining know what you'd like & they'll help set it all up for you.

The character meals will give everyone in your party (even the ones that refuse to stand in character lines) some one on one with the characters......really a lot of fun & everyone needs to eat....so you take care of a few things all at once......lol

Small World is a great group ride, so is the Storybookland Canal Boats & any of the trains.

Forgot to answer the PFF question......yes it's geared for the little princesses, but my son loves seeing them.....so he goes & gets lots of attention.....as do adults that go. Just got back from an all girls trip & we did a big group shot with Snow White & Cinderella.

We celebrate 2 of our boys b days there every year. They love getting a birthday button. Everyone says Happy Birthday. We let them dress up as their favorite Disney characters, it makes them feel a little more special. When our 3rd child turned 3 we got him a Mickey Birthday bucket, it came with a little cake.
For my boys, the most fun character meal was at Goofy's Kitchen.
This year we are going to surprise them with a Fantasmic desert package. There are so many things you can do at DL to make his day super special.
