Would this be best done first thing on a non EE day, or first thing on an EE day? Any suggestions. We missed it last time because we did Peter Pan first thing on EE and the lines were crazy long pretty much constantly.

Do it first thing on either day (assuming you are eligible for early entry). Have fun!

When are you going? We were there in November and did it on a non EE/MM morning and walked right on. It is a long ride compared to those in Fantasyland. I would get as much in at Fantasyland as you can on your MM and do Nemo on another day 1st thing

Or... if you are planning on staying until park closing, get in line for Nemo about 10 minutes before the park closes. You WILL ride, no matter how long the line. Yes, you will have a wait, but you are not wasting time that you could be doing other things because the park is closed. :)

I'm trying to remember where the line starts. Isn't it around the Matterhorn? I want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction.

Hi,

I am planning a trip to DL in March, will there any bargain during March?

I'm trying to remember where the line starts. Isn't it around the Matterhorn? I want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction.

Depends, these days, it mostly starts under the giant marquee sign. Depending on the expected crowds, it might also start over by the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant or on the path between the lagoon and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

We found the lines were way longer for Nemo on EE mornings than not. EE/MM totally frustrated us when we were there and it was really crowded, because it was just a bunch of people in a small area of the park and everything had a really long line. We spent half one of our MMs waiting to get into Adventureland and ride Indy. It sucked.

We've gone to Nemo on MM mornings and non-MM mornings, first thing. We have yet to wait more than 20 minutes since the ride (re)opened using that stragedy. Then again, we get to the gates 15-20 minutes before park opening so if you want to add that time into the wait...

I'm sorry you had such a bad MM experience. For an easier one next time, check out my MM super thread: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403

Back to the OP, if you are one of the first people in line at the gates for MM, then by all means go for it, BUT I don't recommend riding Nemo during MM if you are not one of those first people in the park simply because why waste your extra hour on 1 ride (if you aren't one of the first ones there it will take up a huge majority of that MM hour) when you can ride all of the FL rides during that same hour.

I've found that the lines are extremely long right after park opening until the first parade (but they aren't doing parades right now so I don't know how that factors into everything). During the parade the line dies down a bit, but after the parade, a huge surge of parade watching guests get in line for Nemo, Matterhorn, Space, Buzz..etc. Then during the 2nd parade the line dies down again to probably the lowest wait of the day (like dinner time). Then another surge after the 2nd parade and lines are reasonable (better than in the morning) until park closing.

When we were there, the shortest Nemo rides were in the evening (usually around 8 or 9). They were twice as long in the morning, even if we went straight there at opening. We only waited 20 at night. And I liked the ride better at night too.

It's funny how different everyone is! We rode it at night and day and each one was a different experience. You can see out more with the daylight.

Also, we walked not run to Nemo at rope drop on a non MM morning. DD in stroller and DMIL in an ECV. We were on the first sub. When we got off the wait was only about 10 minutes

Thanks everyone. I think we will try first thing on Friday morning. We usually get to the park at least 30 mins early so hopefully we will won't have a long wait for the subs.

The Finding Nemo Subs were so much fun for the kids and I, but I dont think looking back I would wait in line for over 20 mins for it, ok maybe 30 mins, but not more, if you can do EE I certainly would!
get there early and beat those crowds!

Back in November we only had a 30 min wait on a saturday around 10 or 11 am. I can't remember exactly what time we went on it but we were just walking by, heading towards space mountain and decided to check how long the line was when we saw the short-ish wait time. I guess my point is that the line might not be as bad as you think, it just depends. I'm wondering if the line for Nemo in general is calming down a bit now that it's been open for awhile. But of course on crowded days it will still be a long line.

Where do you go if you want to see the "handicapped" version?

My sister is clausterphobic and doesn't want to go in the sub. Will they let the two of us in plus our 4 kids to see that version even if we have no GAC or obvious handicap?

We did it on a non EE day first thing. One time we waited maybe 5-10 min. Second time we tried it we were second sub out with no wait. Oh I forgot we did ride it right after a parade with a 20 minute wait.

I went to see the handidcapped version when I was in a wheelchair.

We asked a cast member at the entrance where we needed to go. I think they had a special entrance, but I may not remember correctly there.

Just ask if you can use the Marine Observation Post, I think that's how it called.

I think it's called the Marine Observation Outpost, or "MOO" for short. :flower3:

Marine Observation Outpost, that is it.

Thank you. I had a feeling I was missing a couple of letters somewhere. :)
