We have MM Tuesday and MTTMM Wednesday before running over to DCA to hit Soarin' at 930 and then get in line for TSMM. Tuesday evening will be DCA and Wednesday evening will be DL. Thursday morning we leave the parks around 12 to head to grandma's.

I've played with Ridemax a little, plugging in FNSV on each day. The line seems to jump from 0 to 60 in no time flat each morning, but it seems to level out around 30 to 45 minutes between 3 and 6. Does that seem accurate?

I also remember some ride closing down around parade times. Is that FNSV or storybook? Thanks!

We'd originally considered leaving this until Thursday morning as one of those if-we-hit-it-cool-if-not-oh-well rides (like storybook), but DD is currently obsessed with Marlin and Nemo right now. Her pediatrician's office is decorated with Nemo. I guess we need to hit the ride now. :rotfl:

The ride is a slow loading one, so it usually always has a pretty decent line. When I went last summer, it was always at least 35 minutes or more, even at night.

I believe Storybook closes down during the parade, but not Nemo. If your son is really set on riding it, I would head there first thing on your MM as most crowds will be heading for Star Tours. Perhaps someone who's been recently can confirm whether Nemo is still open for MMs?

It is, but it's a huge time suck. Even if it has a short line of 10 minutes, the "voyage" itself is almost 20 minutes long, so even if you do it first thing, you've just wasted half of your MM. I am of the opposite school of thought and usually ride Nemo at night when the line seems to be closer to 25 minutes. If you wait and do it near park closing (or during fireworks I've learned) the line can be even shorter.

If your group lasts until park closing, ride Nemo last. That way, while you wait in line, you are not missing out on anything else (except shopping on Main Street). As long as you are IN line prior to park closing, you will be allowed to ride.

DD2 won't make it that long. We'll probably be lucky for her to make it to the 2nd Fantasmic showing. Nemo will have to come during the day sometime. Oh well. We'll just buck up and take the lines.

My family and I went on Nemo the last ten minutes of MM and got right on. Good timing I guess!:thumbsup2 It was cute and didn't seem as long as they say it is.:goodvibes

We've found the Nemo ride to be shortest at night. We've gone with a 5 minute wait before!

I've been trying to figure this one out too. We will have 2 MM (Thurs & Sat), so our plan is to do Nemo the 2nd MM on Sat. Then get in 1 more ride b4 heading to MTTMM.

I'd second NOT rushing to Nemo first on a MM. Dragging a 2-year-old, you won't be at the front of the pack. It's unlikely you'll make it on the first sub, and as others have pointed out, it's a slow loader regardless. It seemed like they were only running (maybe) two subs the MM we wasted on Nemo.

You might try using a MM for several Fantasyland rides -- Peter Pan, Dumbo, Mr. Toad -- and then hop in the Nemo line before the park opens to everyone as a PP suggested. I'm not sure if Star Tours is taking the "new ride" heat for MMs, or if it's adding to the overall crowds in that area and spilling into Nemo.

Here's a possible scenario for us. Our short day will be Thursday. We'll have had to pack the car (shouldn't take too long) and check out of the hotel. I don't think DH wants to rush over there, so I'm not sure exactly what time we will arrive. We might be able to be there by 8, but I'm not certain. Possibly closer to 9 and leaving around 12 or 1. We'll still have to hop into DCA to get Mr. Potato Head stuff (unless we find time for that Tuesday or Wednesday).

Should we wait until Thursday morning to do this? That might mean an entire hour or more is dedicated to this ride, but it will probably guarantee that we have ridden everything else we want to. We'll probably hit up our favorites thursday morning, too. HM, PoTC, Indi, SM (we'll FP that).

Does that sound like it will work?

Here's what I'd do with that combo of rides:

Send your FP runner to grab a Space Mountain FP as soon as you get there while the slower ones walk to Nemo. Ride Nemo, then get on the train to NO Square. (Get and Indiana Jones FP as soon as you're eligible -- keep an eye on the clock). Ride HM and Pirates. Ride Indiana Jones, hopefully with a FP. Using the train or walking, go back to Space Mountain and ride with your FP.

If one of the later rides is a can't miss, rearrange your plan to suit. I'd save the hop into DCA for the end because it's not line-dependent.

(I just noticed your DD2 isn't big enough for some of the big rides. I'd use the parent swap feature on Indiana Jones or the single-rider ride.)

PHXScuba...you're a genius! That's perfect, and that will also get us on the DLRR one last time, too! DD loves trains, and I always have trouble figuring out how to work that in when I'm going against time.

Definitely doing single rider/child swap. We'll be hitting up Tarzan's treehouse a few times, although DH might take DD on JC while I'm on Indi. I honestly can only take JC once a trip, but he loves it. Oh well.

We've done the rider swap on IJ and it still takes a long time since it's so far back. I had our older kids on the ride and we stopped for 20 minutes! I didn't have my phone (not that it would have worked that deep in the building) and so DH was wondering what had happened to us. When we finally pulled into the station they were going to let us go around again, but I knew DH would be going stir-crazy with the younger kids.
