Finding Nemo Sub Ride LINE!!!

By November, I'm hoping the novelty wears off for everyone and there will be no line! :cool1:

Um, you've got a good point and this is no offense to you, but if I'm waiting for hours in that line? I'm NOT going to be in a Disney mood if a family tries to reunite mid-queue in front of me so that half of them can enjoy the park all afternoon. Just being honest. I don't know if that flies at Disneyland, but I KNOW it wouldn't work in Disney World.

We were at Space Mountain two years ago for the relaunch, and that's what these Nemo line reports remind me of. The line for SM reached further than we could see from the upper level of the queue, and the amazing thing was that the line for FAST PASSES was just as long!

I totally agree with you!!! I would never want to let people in if dd and I had spent the entire time in line especially in a line this long.

Luckily dd and I were able to see it on the AP preview day and loved it!!!

i thought even with an AP that line is still too long.. it created more ppl on that day and thus all lines became long.. lol

What do you think will be like on Sun. (17) and Mon. (18)? What about the rest of the park? I don't care if we miss Nemo, this trip, but hope the rest of Disneyland isn't unbearable!

There will still be a line, not as long but probably around an hour or so. Remember the old subs? There was always a line for them.

I checked out the line yesterday a little after 6pm and the line was actually just beyond the 2 hour mark. I didn't ride (having gotten on during a preview and was meeting a friend who'd also ridden) but it didn't seem that bad.

FWIW, CM's were suggesting this exact strategy to folks while we were there this past weekend. The suggested family members rotate while waiting in the line- half wait while half go on a ride, etc.- as the line was slow moving and over 4 hours (if not more) long

Wow. Well, then I guess it does fly at Disneyland then. However, my initial reaction stands - I still won't be in a Disney mood, just cause a CM says it's ok.;)

I'd be very annoyed if one person stood in line holding a place for 8 people.

But if a family of 4 split into 2's and 2 stood in line while 2 went and rode, and then traded off, I'd be less inclined to be angry about that.

i would be totally annoyed too but here's the thing. We are a family of four. When we go it will be DH, DD 4, DD 1. DH and I could alternate in line every hour or two no problem. But there is no way either of my girls would tolerate that kind of a wait. We don't get to DL often and will want to ride. I guess we'll just have to see how long the line is when we go in Dec.

How long do you think these mutli-hour lines will continue for nemo? Im going on Oct. 26th (friday) for Mickeys Halloween Treat, and thinking of stopping in DL before, do you think the lines will still be crazy?

I'm sure the novelty will wear off in a couple of months, don't worry.

Just look at the family member(s) in line as a human Fast Pass & it won't seem so objectionable. ;)

hound popcorn::

u it will be 3 of us, and if my dh stays in line while i take my son on something to waste time..i will i dont excpect him to wait in line for 6hours.

Now I wont be there till end nov so hopefully it be shorter line excpicaly if i use it as ee one morrning and rn there even if have to wait an hour there till it opens..i think be worth it.

Does anyone know why they don't have a Fast Pass for Nemo? Do they like having long lines at DL? It's quite confusing to me....:confused3

couse it only has 4-8 subs i think and 20 ppl at time and 20mins. it wouldnt work for fast pass

Actually, it's 40 people per sub and they'll probably run 6 most of the time. The ride is 15 minutes, but takes about 5 minutes to load/unload. But, I can't even imagine what the line might be like with fastpass. The POTC line was horrendous when it had FP. Once they stopped having FP on it, the line went way down.

I think they should not put in fast pass until a ride is at least a couple months into its age. Initial demand will overwhelm the system. They'd burn right through their fast passes in the first hour or so and there would be a 30 minute line at the fast pass machines just to talk to a cm and discover they were out of fast passes for the day.

Now once things settle down, this would not be the case. But don't expect Fast Pass even then because the DL brass isn't as keen on Fast Pass as the WDW brass, I wouldn't expect Nemo to get it.
