Hi all. I just saw on my husbands "Monster Fish" site, that Disney has a new Nemo ride. I looked it up on the official Disney world site, it looks awesome, but has anyone tried it? It says it just opened, but seeing as how I'm just hearing about it now, it could have been open for a while, I just haven't heard about it. My daughter is 2, and absolutley LOVES Finding Nemo. When she saw the pic of the ride come up on the computer screen she went nuts, singing "Dory, Dory, Dory ..." etc. lol.

We rode it two weeks ago. It is in the Living with the Seas pavilion. You will not have trouble finding it - the only entrance to the building goes right through the ride queue. Actually, if you are trying to get to Turtle Talk or to that area in general, you have to walk most of the way through the Nemo ride queue. That was a pain for me because I left my kids in the Turtle Talk area to see the fish while I went to get FPs and then the CM wouldn't just let me enter back into that area though those doors. I had to go through the Nemo queue - there is a bypass half way through but no CM was manning it. It thought this set up seemed like poor planning! Anyway, you won't have any problem finding the Nemo ride. We thought it was cute but nothing spectacular. Young children who are Nemo fans will probably love it though. Have fun!

It's cute--any kid who loves the movie will probably enjoy it. It's the old seacabs from the original Living Seas ride redone like a MK "dark ride." There's a thin plot about Nemo wandering away from Mr. Ray and they have to go find him. It's done mostly with high-def video screens creatively disguised in the sets, and they somehow even project Nemo and friends into the main aquarium with the real fish!

There is a scene where Bruce the shark is, that might be a bit frightening for the youngest or most timid kids, and parts of the ride and queue are dark, but other than that it's fine for everyone.

I was looking forward to seeing this when we were there a few weeks ago. I guess it wasn't meant to be because the first time we were at Epcot they were strictly only allowing AP holders in to view it and the second time it was down. I was bummed! Oh well, something to look forward to next trip!! It looks fun even for adults!

I rode it three times!! The time said it was 20 minutes to ride but each time it was walk on! LOVED IT. The theming when you enter is so pretty. You sort of weave (swim!) thru the shoreline to the "underwater" queue where my DH noted the queue rails were "rusty" rails (like the Titanic!). I've disneyfied my DH!

Anyway, you get on the clamshell and it is a very pretty ride. Although one person mentioned the shark, right before you get to it there is a BIG fish with BIG TEETH that sometimes comes at you. You will see the other clamshells begin to turn the corner -- just beware of that and the scene after with the shark. I did hear a child SCREAMING in the next clamshell and the fish with teeth did seem rather frightening that moment for some reason!!!

Other than that ... very lovely, very kid friendly!!! Oh the CRUSH scene is sooo neat. The way they are swimming, you almost feel like your clamshell is moving back up the way you came. And as others mentioned, NEMO and friends in the acquarium singing are so cute. Look for the little starfish at the end. She says various things - different depending on when you catch her. (I forget the starfish's name!)

I think your little girl will just love it!!
