Finding Nemo DISmeet in Syracuse, NY on June 1st - UPDATED!

Join hulagirl's and mine families on Sunday, June 1st, at the Carousel Center for a matinee viewing of the latest Disney/Pixar release, "Finding Nemo". The time will be determined as soon as I find out. Last year's first matinee for Lilo & Stich was at 11:30am to give you an idea.

Plans are to meet 30 minutes before showtime at the Disney Store on the first level. From there we can elevate or esculate up to the movie theaters.

After the movie, you are invited to lunch at the Kahunaville restaurant if you so wish.

I originally thought we would be able to make it but...now my husband brought home free movie screening passes for this Thursday. You really can't beat FREE. If we get bumped from that movie then we would love to join everyone else. I'll post this coming Friday on how the movie was in our opinions (30 somethings) and our older son (almost 4). It does look like a really cute movie.

Everyone gets the joke about the Great White Shark in "Finding Nemo" being called Bruce, right?

The mechanical shark used in the filming of "Jaws" was named Bruce by the cast members. It was only the front part the shark, all mouth, gills and eyes only. It kept breaking down due to the salt water.

The new Disney Magazine is featuring "Finding Nemo". Got mine yesterday!

Hey all...

My family went to "Finding Nemo" screening on Thursday night. It really was a good movie. There were a lot of funny parts in it. Just a little warning w/o giving anything away. The movie starts out really sad and I was concerned about by 3 yo understanding that part. However, the movie quickly moved on and he really liked the movie. He wants to see it again and told us we can buy the movie. How nice of him.

Carousel Theaters said they don't have this weekend's schedule yet. They might have it later tonight or tomorrow. I'll keep checking.

Just got off the phone with Carousel Theaters. They have Finding Nemo in three theaters on Sunday with show times starting at 12:00 noon, 12:30pm and 1:00pm.

We will meet in front of The Disney Store at 11:15am to get into the noon show. If we get bumped, the next show would start in just 30 minutes.

Hope you all enjoy it, I had a bunch of guest come in tonight while working at TDS out in Sangertown Square mall out in New Hartford who really enjoyed it, and the show sold out for the night around 7:30ish...
