Finding my listing on DIS Rent/Trade after 2 days

Help! I listed my points to sell on the DIS boards under Rent/Trade. I am fairly new to the DIS forums and how they work, but I listen to the podcast regularly. Anyway, I found someone to buy the points and transaction has been completed (thanks DIS Forum!) but I wanted to clean up the listing. I can't find it. It originally posted on 8/12 at 12:30 pm. Does anyone know where it went? Or how to delete it if I did find it? What is protocol once something sells/completes?

One way you can find your previous post is by clicking on your name, and going to "list other posts by this user". You can then send a reply or an update post, describing the progress of your thread.

You should check the "Where is my thread?" thread at the top of the Rent/Trade board - here is a link - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1394295 .

It looks like your thread was validated on 8/11. There is a link to the thread right there. Just go and edite your initial post (click "edit" at the lower right of the post), then select "Go Advanced" and you can add the word CLOSED as the first word in the title. That way Caskbill's automated software will find the thread and close it for you.
