Finding Disney Dollars

My mom went to buy disney dollars and was told they were out and didn't know when they would get any. The entire state of NJ is out. She was buying them with her rewards to give to my sister for her upcoming honeymoon. Is there anywhere else she can get them?

She went to the Disney store-- and they check all of the Disney stores in NJ to see if they could find some for her. Can she call WDW or Disney Store and order them?

at Christmas time our store was out also - just took a couple of weeks and they were back in business - I just called once every 3 or 4 days to see if they had them in and went down as soon as they were restocked....

I bought some in Freehold Mall last week, but they only had $5 bills. I had bought $30 worth in Monmouth Mall a few days before that and the girl said they were getting low.

I'm thinking they will get replenished soon.

BUT.... I thought you couldn't buy Disney Dollars with the Visa rewards?????

Unfortunately, unless she can get them at the Disney Store there is no way for her to get them, short of going to WDW or DL and purchasing them herself.

Disney Dollars cannot be sold by the parks over the phone, and if she is using her rewards to purchase them, she would have to be there in person to do so. Have her try in New York, if that isn't too far.

I also live far enough away that it's not a quick trip to pick-up disney dollars so I ordered them thru the mail..Here is the address that Disney has given me to send for them:

I sent for them last week and they said it would take 10-14 days..I think they should offer them online, especially with all their technology that they have..

Disney Stores all over the country have been running out of DD$, because the bills are being redesigned to commemorate the Disneyland 50th celebration. The new bills will be issued to Disney Stores and parks sometime in the spring (best guess is late April/Early May since the 50th celebration begins on May5).

OK, so I just went to buy some Disney Dollars and the local Disney Store is GONE! Just packed up and disappeared. I'm pretty sure it was there two weeks ago. Anyway, I googled Disney Store and didn't get any results. Is there a home page for Disney Store which will show me where the local stores are?
