Can anyone help? We're looking to buy our first Christmas tree and want to get the best price.

We're willing to wait until after Christmas...we don't really need the tree until next year.

What are your experiences?

I would suggest that you watch the budget board for the Target 90% off siting. We got 2 trees last year for under $50 :thumbsup2

My store never seems to have anything left--even at 50% off. But my cousin does work there, so at least I have an insider.

It's too late now, but the day after Thanksgiving we got a 7' unlit at JoAnn Fabric for $25. It's not the highest quality and we're waiting to see what goes on sale after Christmas, but I doubt we'll be able to beat that deal. For $25 even if it lasts only 2 or 3 years I'll be happy. We have a 4' tree that sits on a box and because of how our windows are, from the outside it looks like a 6' tree. It totally works for us for now, but we wanted something bigger for when we have kid(s). If you have a dedicated Christmas store near you, check there after Christmas. Ours has a huge sale Dec. 26 including trees.

We were in Target the other day and they already had trees 50% off.

We got our current tree after Christmas last year 75% off from Wal-Mart.
