To the person looking for a special character and the podcast team:

CMs have access to an information line from any phone on property. I don't want to give away what it is because it's really designed primarily for CMs(or that is my understanding) but I can tell you CMs do have access to finding out where a character is scheduled to appear. All they need is a landline phone on property.:thumbsup2

If I remember correctly, it's called C.H.I.P.
Character
Hotline
Information
Program

- D

haha I didn't even know there is an acronym for it. I just know how to call a "the general info line" and ask for information on characters.

From our experiance as veteren character fans, the CHIP line does not always know which characters are out. We have gone to Guest Services on many occasions and had them call for us for a certain character. On more than one occasion we have been told a character would not be out today only to have the character appear in the parks that very day.

This is due to several reasons, the foremost being that some of the less common characters are brought out to "train new handlers" ;). The Chip line has no way of knowing which characters will be invovled.

yes, they always throw the disclaimer that anything can happen and your character might not appear, although I've never heard of it the other way around. It IS at least a resource though.
