Finding a "Bringing home baby" Outfit in the World?

Where should I go to while we're at WDW in a few weeks to pick out an outfit to bring home the new baby from the hospital? We just found out pretty affirmatively that it's a boy yesterday.

I'd like to bring home something from my older kid's first trip to Disney to dress the baby in, and maybe some other cute baby stuff...

Where do I look? Thanks!

At World of Disney in Downtown Disney they have a baby section. I was hoping to find more infant stuff there but was disappointed....I was mostly searching for bibs though...in all of Disney they only had one bib! It's Mickey and says Walt Disney World. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they had small outfits but not sure if they came in newborn sizes. They have a lot of cute "baby" plush toys for infants there too.

I'm going to agree, not much of an infant selection!

the outfit I brought oldest home in was from WDW (7 1/2 years ago). I couldn't find anything under 6 months to bring my 2 year old home in.

My mom is going down in a few weeks and will be looking for #3...we'll see if selection is better or if it will be another cute baby gap outfit.

Cool! Hope she (and we!) have good luck and find something.

I'm not really into the pastel blue sailboat/car/puppy motif. So I'm hoping to avoid that. I do like the navy blue and kelly green turtle theme that is at gymboree right now, but good golly that stuff is super expensive!

You can also check the Pooh store in DD.......again I was hoping to find some Pooh bibs there and no luck. :confused3 But, they may have had some newborn outfits.

Oh good tip TinkPearl, thanks for both of them!

I had to promise DH I wouldn't buy a ton of stuffies while at the world though. He's right when he claims there's already too many in this house. However, I made him agree to make an exception for a new Figment stuffie for me!

I've never had any luck finding bibs down there. I think I've bought one or 2 over the years.

I think your best bet is going to be the larger gift shops like the one the PP mentioned at DTD, or the ones in MK and Epcot. They all have the largest selections of everything.

We found a very cute Nemo and friends onesie and other little baby items right outside of the Nemo ride. We got the matching book set for about $10 that he just loves. We also got a Pirates of the Caribbean bib that is white with red trim and a pirate Mickey on it from my DH's parents. They also got us a little blue footed jammie with Mickey on it. The only other bib we saw was a plain one with either Mickey or Minnie. I wish they had more items to pick from. We did buy a few silverware sets from the different hotel shops that he loves too.

They have bibs in the baby care centers in all the parks. They also have infant clothes but not much of a selection as it is more aimed towards essentials. The biggest baby section is at world of disney in downtown. They have way more girl stuff though. We were there one time in mid-Jan and it was super cold. I didn't pack hats and my baby definatly needed one with the wind. The only place that had warm infant hats was the baby care center at Epcot. So you never know what you wil find there.

Oh, I'm so jealous you found a pirate bib! I wonder if I just overlooked it at the Pirates store.

There was a fairly large baby selection in one of the stores along main street USA in Magic Kingdom. I was kind of shocked and it was by accident that we foudn this.

Makes me sad to hear they have lessened the infant section. When I was there in jan 07 they had TONS of stuff! I bought like eight onesies and a few blankets and a bib, also a tshirt and a little baseball outfit. The outfit was for 6 months though. I am hoping to TTC for our third in dec and want to buy a few new items during our christmas trip...guess I will have to wait and see what is there.
