Findin new fun stuff!

Hi! Since readin the boards i've found out about waking up Tinkerbell, and finding paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island. Does anyone know about any other little surprises you can find in WDW? We go in Feb but r plannin fun stuff already!!

I've heard if you get to the park for rope drop and run to Tinkerbell's shop, and you are the first to get there you get to "wake her up" and get a certificate. I dont know how you wake her up but hopin to find out in Feb!!

That is so neat! I found the paintbrush on my most recent trip. It was in a really obvious spot, so I think maybe a little kid found it and his mom yelled at him to put it down.

Our prize was a fastpass to any attraction. Unfortunately, we didn't even use it because there were no crowds! At least I have a neat souvenier.

to the Dis, Kymie!! I guess the best known surprises would be all the hidden Mickeys all over the world. There are so many "surprises" but another popular one is the wedding ring embedded in the cement outside of the Haunted Mansion (I believe it was Master Gracies brides ring) or the key under the mat in the pre-show area of Muppetvision

. BTW, I'd like to know about the paint brush also?!

Hey GIOny! I have heard that they hide a few (maybe up to 5 or 10) paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island. So if you are one of the first over there you can look for one. You are only allowed to find 1 but if you do and take it to a CM you get a certificate or something?!

Race ya to the store . I looked at the countdown ticker and we will be there at the same time. We arrive on the 5th of Feb. We hope to get to wake her up one morning too !! Would just make DD3's day to wake up Tinkerbell.

Be sure to look for Devine in AK! Also, the talking waterfountain in EPCOT and the talking Trashcan in Tomorrowland...I'll be taking time this next trip to look for all of the neat things I've heard about on the DIS!

Wow I never knew about the paint brushes! Does anyone else think that Tom Sawyer Island is extremely under-rated? We LOVE it, it's one of the highlights of MK for us. Maybe it's a boy thing - but my sons (and myself & DH) just love to ride the raft over, and spend an hour or more winding thru the secret caves & hideaways, and running around the trails. At the end we can relax while they play cops & robbers or wild wild west shoot em up at the old western park or whatever that place is at the end of the trails. Ice cream at Polly's while waiting for the raft back rejuvenates us all for the rest of the afternoon!

We never hit TSI until mid to late afternoon - but maybe we can try it 1st this time & look for a paintbrush!

Hi. What or who is Devine? Have spoken to the trash can a couple of times-it always amazes my kids!! Also, where abouts in EPCOT is the talkin fountain? I love findin out about all the little extras!!
